Finally got out today and dragged Mike along for his first trip to the WB. After the slushy machine stopped the bite was on.

Cool vid, those rainbows are real beauts... Are they usually colored up like that on the W Branch or did it seem like those were spawning colors?
I got out today too, mid 40s and sunny, couldn't ask for a better fishing day in Feb! Here was one of our rainbows today.

Thanks man, the rainbows aren't usally that colored up. Right now there in the middle so spawing. mOst of the fish we caught were rainbows
Unfortunately we started out in the 20's with 20mph wind and Snow tuck casting between slushbergs. Managed one small Bow playing that game but by noon the slush was gone and the fish turned on shortly after.
Very nice guys!
A noon ice out gives some hope for the next couple of weeks. Just need to get it moving enough to float down. Hopefully I can sneak up there for 4 days early next month. Spring is almost here!
I provably could have got out today however the wife would have castrated me seeing how its Valentines Day and all. I still got my sights set on Thursday.
When they come to conficate your gun, LET THEM HAVE IT...........Then reload.
Alot of kids out there that need adoption ;D
Awesome fish...I'm lookin at maybe a saturday WB trip this week...you down?
Fishing isn't a matter of life and death, it's more important than that
Finally got out to the Croton watershed and managed a couple of 12 inch rainbows. Boy it was nice out there today.
