NE PA Stream

The last day of school for the kids was yesterday so Juice and I headed out to the Poconos. We got there around five and the drive was well worth it. We were met with high clear water and good hatches of caddis, olives and sulphers. The nymphing was the technique of the day as Justin landed 5 fish in 5 casts! The wets and soft hackles had their moments as well.

We landed all wild browns and rainbows from 4 to 12 inches. They were all beautiful fiish in a more amazing setting.

The Big River is BIG right now... We were hoping would to fish there but you need an ark to do it.

NEPA. Where I grew up. I don't fish up there much. So many streams, so little time. It looks like you are doing well.

Thankfully, global warming slowed down a bit this year (until today) and the fishing is still pretty decent.

Great stream! Made Juice take me tonight. Storm started when we got there, but after 15 minutes it passed and we hit them good. I tried Euro nymphing first time and got 6 or 7 from 5-12 inches. All wild Browns. Loved it!
Juice did better and pulled in a nice 14 in wild brownie.
