    Sunday on the Farmington

What started out as a nice day turned lousy pretty quick.Lots of wind.I ended up putting the sinktip on and dragged the bottom most of the day.Had 4 hits and landed 2.All on black buggers.Talked to several guys who didn't do much either.I did hear the lower TMA was stocked so I guess that's where most of the guys went.Still nice to get out.I saw some micro stones on my truck and a few olives flying by at 30 mph in the wind.

When the word gets out about the olives hatching you will have plenty of company! Hey two is better than nothing, and it beats sitting home. Did you see any fish feeding on the surface?

    Re: Sunday on the Farmington

    aaron,

I got to church pool early saturday morning and counted 15 rises in 5 minutes, the fish were feeding on caddis and stones. But by the time I got into my waders another fisherman walked right through the rising pod of fish. So I stayed there for a bit throwing a light caddis nymph with no success. I then went down below the Collinsville dam and picked up one on a bugger.

    rusty,

I almost went out on sunday too but I saw the wind picking up and decided against it. Were you fishing in Collinsville?

If there were any rises it was hard to see them in the 2ft chop.I stayed up in Greenwoods for the most part.I've never fished down that far but would like to learn it.When the hatches are on I like to lose the crowds and fish other water.
