Predator, and others, (brookie, I know you do a lot of Steelhead fishing)
For those who haven't fished for steelhead yet and plan to (like myself!), I'd love to hear what gear is required. I think a 6-8 wt. rod is necessary, but I'd like to hear more details:

1. line (floating or sinking, or both?)
2. leaders
3. flies
4. rods
5. places, favorite rivers (if you feel inclined to divulge)
