I've only dry cast them in our parking lot when the rep showed them to me. I really liked the way they cast & shot though. The textured finish makes an unusual noise when going through the guides. They said that in real world fishing, the lines lasts 3x longer than a current top end line, which if true would actually make it more economical, even at $100. The lines are more flexible and less prone to cracking. The rep also said if I liked the line on pavement, I would be much more impressed on the water. The Zillions of micro "divets" on the lines surface trap air and make it float higher, reduce friction for shooting line & lifting off the water easily, it sheds excess water on the backcast, and is supposed to "fly" better through the air (sort of like the way the dimples on a golf ball give it more "loft". But again, I haven't actually fished the line, and that's the ultimate test. I'm hearing good things about it though.
