Hey all,
I will be doing a Beginner's Fly Tyer class on Dec. 8th. This class will be from the ground up. Going over tools, how to thread the bobbin, how to put the thread on the hook, I really mean from the ground up. And yes, of course, how to tie flys. I am going to teach you how to tie basic patterns but I will also throw a few of my ties in there as well. Again, it's for beginners so if you have just started out tying, you have never tied before, or if you know of a friend, I would highly recommend this class. By the end of the day, you will have learned the skills to successfully tie your own flys with confidence. It will be an all day event. 7-8 hours. There will be a break for lunch. Bring your vise and tools. I will supply the materials and hooks. The class is $75. Call Torrey at HRO to sign up for the class.

I will also be doing a Housy Spring Fly Tying Course. This will be for more advanced tyers. This class will focus on patterns that work on the Housy in the Spring time. The date will be announced within the next month or so. I will post the info but you can also check it out on the HRO website.
