Stop by the store and I'll get you rigged up & ready to go- I used to guide on the Salmon River when I got out of college. Think eggs flies/patterns/beads, have both a floating line (for use with an indicator) and a running line (for chuck & duck bottom bouncing in fast, deep runs). At 750cfs, the running line with eggs is hard to beat. You can try swinging streamers and the like with a sink tip of some sort, but dead drifting with egg patterns is tough to beat right now. Focus on the faster water at the pool heads, tails, and pocket water. You will do better targeting the faster water right now than you will fishing in the pools. When water temps get down in the mid 30's, the fish will stack up in the slower water. Hope this helps.
