Hammering fish the past two weeks. I am using a white marabou T&A pattern bought at Kelly's shop about 4 years ago. Its basically a soft hackle marabou streamer with a trailer hook-it was considered top secret and experimental at the time lol.... I am tying some circus peanuts as we speak..definitely streamer time on the Platte. I am the ONLY guy slinging junk...everyone is still micro nymphing and catching the afternoon olive hatch...I switch up to throw some drys too but covering water and throwing junk has a predatory aspect to it...having fun on the Platte.

That T and A Bunker is one of my favorites. There's something to be said for those natural materials. He told me that the secret is to put a few pieces of ice fibre down the sides of both the trailer and main fly.

Yeah...I typically add in just a little flash somewhere...often just a couple strands of flashabou...but just the marabou on the fly I had been using is working good.

The T & A rainbow has been my best streamer the past 2 years. I like to tie it articulated. Big fish like big flies.

Thats what I'm thinking...the Blue and Colorado could be down to reasonable levels in a couple weeks or not...but thats the plan.
