THREAD: Gordon Griffiths 14/0, Brown

SHUCK AND BACK: Dun Zelon

ABDOMEN: Pheasant tail fibers

THORAX: Stalcups dry PMD dubbing

WING: Dun CDC faethers (2 or 3) depending on hook size

RIB: Wapsi (XSM) or Largutan fine , copper wire

A good soft water emerger pattern. I fish this with a Shop Vac as a dropper.

Shuck/tail: Brown Zelon

Abdomen: Rusty Brown Goose Biot ( fringed up ) Wapsi

Rib: Largutan fine gold wire

Underwing: kinky light dun zelon

Thorax: PMD yellow, Stalcups

Bead: Gold glass, 15/0 / between thorax and hackle

Wings/legs: Partridge

I fish this fly on the swing or with the Leisenring lift. It is a take off of Craig Matthews Epeorus Emerger. It has served me well on the Madison and Stillwater, particularly effective fished coming out of riffles and in soft water along banks.

RIB: x-sm Wapsi wire, Gold

ABDOMEN: Rusty Brown Ostrich Herl, twisted and wrapped

THORAX: Fine and Dry PMD Dub

HACKLE: Ginger

WING: Tan Coastal Deer Hair, angled forward
