    High water! So what!

Hit the TMA armed with Aaron Jasper's Euro tecnique and a box full of TPO "dronestones" Nothing big but was able to break double digets in 3 hours of Euro-nymphing. Quite an acomplishment for me. Anyone interested in learning Aaron's methods can attend his clinic on April 24th at UPcountry fly shop 860-379-1952.

The red eye is from the flash. Aaron's dronestone was able to get down in the zone even with the high water conditions.

Euro nymphing works! Going out with Aaron in 2 weeks to fine tune things.

Hit the TMA today with Brandon and we managed about a dozen in high water conditions. Some nice fish a few 16- 18 inch browns and Brandon got into a nice 18 in Rainbow. All the fish fought really hard today, it was a great time. The weather was perfect. What a nice change being able to wear just one layer of clothes! All fish were caught indicator nymhing with Polish nymphs, stones and an olive that B tied which was killer today.

Nice fish as always Aaron. Magnet the funny thing was when we left the house we thought it was at 1300. After a few hours we stopped in to see Grady and he told us it was over 2000!! Brandon tied these olives and we were killing them ,then we lost the last one and that was it. All the fish were tight to the banks. No more than 6 feet out. Good times, what an awsome river. Cant wait to fish it after taking the guide trip with AJ and learning the Euro stuff!
