I rushed out of work today to meet Tom to head over to the Pequest. We got to the river at about 2:30. A man was at his truck being very nice, but I knew that something was up. I walked onto the bridge and there he was with a worm container in his pocket and a "crawler" on the end of his line. Maybe he thought that the Vladi Worm is really bait
Anyway, I called the hatchery and within 5 minutes a game warden was on the scene!! What a great job NJF&W. I hope that they caught the guy. He asked for a description of the guy. I showed him a few pics and he said, "good enough."
Anyway, the fishing was good. The fish were hammered pretty good before we got there, but we mangaged to catch plenty. Everything from midges to eggs to a Vladi took fish.
