Rob Parkins will be the guest speaker for November. After years of guiding in the East on the Housatonic and Delaware rivers, going west to guide on the Missouri, managing a fly shop in CT and working as a manufacturers rep, the call of the West dragged Rob, his fianc Pam, and his black Lab Shang to the Tetons and Westbank Anglers. In 2008, after 3 years as the general manager of one of the finest fly shops in the country, Rob has decided that his favorite place to be is rowing a boat as a full time guide and showing folks the great rivers of the Greater Yellowstone Ecosystem the Snake River through Grand Teton National Park, the South Fork of the Snake in Idaho, the Green River, Flat Creek and numerous streams in Yellowstone National Park.
The November program, "Ain't Life Grand. Fishing within 2 hours of Grand Teton National Park and Jackson Hole, WY. A brief history of the area, the fishing on the Snake River as well as other rivers in the area as well as incredible scenery and wildlife that creates an angling experience like none other in the country. It isn't all about the fish!
