    Best night ever on the Beaverkill

    Aaron, went fishing tonight on the Beaverkill and knocked em dead! Caught 12 browns in about 3hrs of fishing, it would take me about 5 nights worth of fishing to match that doing it my old way. Have really come to enjoy nymph fishing which up until a year ago I never did, of course it helps when your catching fish. Have learned a lot from your guy's site and just wanted to say thanks for all the great info. Caught most of my fish on Lorens Green Meanie pattern with a black tungsten bead head, and switched over to a cahill wet and pheasant tail when the cahills started to pop.

    Sounds like you had a great evening! Were any of the fish of size or were they the smaller 10-12 inch standard fare?

    Its amazing how quickly that river clears and the fishing picks up after heavy rains.

    Aaron, had a variety of sizes with most in the 14-18 inch range with a few dinks to round it out. The water was high but pretty clear, and the past couple of times I've fished with those conditions the fishing has been very good. Will be back again tonight. Thanks again
