Decided to come into the office a little late and hit a local wild brown stream for about an hour and a half. Caught a few little wild browns and a decent little stocker. These fish look pretty skinny, which is strange because the insect activity in this stream is unreal. The place I fished is probably the most pressured spot on the stream, but I always manage to do ok. The water was really low and gin clear today. It was really nice to be on the water this morning, but it's making my time in the office right now all the worse! Am I the only one that day dreams about becoming some maddened fishing hermit in some one room shanty next to a river filled with fish?
