    Freestone Zippered

Hey guys, my mom would like to get into fishing this summer, which would be great because once she's addicted she won't complain when my dad and I go all the time ;D We have extra vests plenty of rods and reels but she doesn't like the spare waders we have. We have orvis, Dan Bailey, and albright spare waders which she dubs "too confining". Anyway I'd like to get her something with a zipper like the G4z's and I found these.

They're a good price and they're simms so I know they're good quality. Anyone have some experience or other reccommendations?

Redington also makes zipper waders for around $200 I think but I have not used them so I don't know how they are.

I just bought waders for my wife and when I was talking to sales person she told me that waders for women are cut much different and that most women prefer womens waders. Also the stocking feet are smaller on womens waders in comparison to the size of the wader. I ended up getting my wife a pair of Frogg Togg waist highs cause they were cheap and I didn't know if she was going to hate fly fishing (she really enjoys it now).

Ramsey Outdoor (quality store down here by me) has these on sale. http://www.ramseyoutdoor.com/product...379/index.aspx I would have gotten these for my wife if I knew she was going to like it.

thanks nick, I've seen the redingtons and considered them but I'd really like to stick with simms, even if she's doesn't really get into it they can always be sold used on E-bay.

I'll have my mom try on a pair of simms womens waders like the ones on sale and if she likes them I'll order them from Ramsey.

    thanks again,

Don't feel obligated, I just meant if you couldn't find a better deal their not going to steal your credit card number and send you nothing.
