Pike Flies

Does anyone tie pike flies? If you have any easy recipes please post them. And if you have pictures of the fly please post them also.

I second that. I wanted to start making some myself and realized I didn't even know where to start. I don't even know what hooks to buy. However I'm sure anything Large and flashy should work once I get started.

Dick head woolly bugger.

BIG woolly bugger with a spun dear head. I use flash in the marabou.

you can make clousers with yellow white and green and put stripes on it with a marker. add flash if you want.

decievers in perch colors, trout colors, small bass colors.

Big hair leaches.

pike will eat anything really.

big dahlberg divers. you can use rabbit strips for the tail. anything big will work but bringing one to the top is more fun. imho the dahlberg diver is the best warmwater pattern going

I second the dahlberg diver. Lengthen the rabbit strip or tail to at least five inches, and add flash to the tail. I don't bother with loud colors in the head, just natural hair seems to work fine. Fished with a sinking leader or split shot at the leader knot seems to help, unfortunately most of my pike takes tend to be a foot or more down as opposed to surface.
