    Spring Creek 11/4/2008

    I got out to vote early then decided to take a drive out to Central PA.

    The exit!


    With a sign like this how could you go wrong?


    The fishing was epic today and I had the ENTIRE stream to myself!




    Here is one with a DW sow bug attached to it's jaw! The Walt's Worm did it's fair share of trout in as well.

    Took a look at Big Fishing Creek. They are taking too much water from the ground.

    low water or not P.A is still a great place to fish. Like we talked Fishing Creek is largely dependent upon rainfall & Penn State drains the water tables to Spring Creek.

    Whenever you can fish without seeing anyone else is still a great day fishing regardless.

    Penn State is gunning for national title and still undefeated in the Big Ten and Nationally. Their last 2 games are home too so anyone thinking about fishing State College area will find the entire area mobbed on the weekends and lodging will be BAD!!

    That's some good stuff! It brings back memories of my PSU days when I was fishin' instead of studying. November was always my best month of fishing on Spring creek.
