Don't walk on big round polished boulders with cleats, unless you like ice skating with waders then going for a little swim.

Yes, for sure, have those cleats for the Salmon River. I went ice-skating last time.
Tip #1: when taking off your waders, or while storing them, make sure to clip the wading belt to the shoulder straps (or anywhere that they will stay attached) so that they stay together. There's nothing more frustrating than putting your waders on, and then realizing that you forgot the belt!
