    East Brandywine Breeder Blowout

    Took a quick trip down the PA Turnpike to check out one of the most silted streams I have ever seen. In some parts the river was beautiful and appeared to be full of limestone. I imagine this stream had it's day a long time ago.

    Today, however, we were less worried about stream conditions and a little more worried about what kind of finless wonders we could hook into. We received a report that the "motherload" of breeders were dropped into the Delayed Harvest stretch, and let me tell you, IT WAS THE MOTHERLOAD. We didn't bring a camera because we felt like it would sort of be like taking pictures of a mentally handicapped person. While some were in decent shape, and some were meaty fish, most looked like they had seen better days.

    Aaron pierced a couple 21"+ fish and I hauled in a nice four or five pounder, and before we knew it, we had caught over fourty fish.

    It got kind of boring after a few hours of easy fishing, but as far as a nice half day trip a few times a year, it measured up.

    Aaron is off to Oswego and I'm off to work. Sorry we didn't get any porn, but I'm sure you all wouldn't be that interested in Quasimoto trout.
