Northcountryman:
I suggest when going out fishing, fish the morning hatch. Then when fishing gets slow late morning scout for deer the rest of the day until 1-2 hours before dark, then fish the evening hatch before deer seasons -archery, smoke pole or rifle.
When any of those hunting seasons come around, head out early am in dark to go hunting. Hunt until about 11 am. Head out fishing for the early afternoon when water gets the warmest fish til 2-3, then go back out hunting for the evening.
The same applies to bird or rabbit hunting during the middle of the day and fish early am and late evening. Many times I hunt by some beautiful small streams while deer hunting that hold some nice brookies.
Good Luck
