I had the incredible experience of fishing the W.B. Delaware on Tuesday. This day, along with the week of fishing to follow defined a new TPO credo: No B.S! ! ! It was definitely a sight to see! We trekked out in the rainy and raw weather in full gear. Aaron took me to his favorite spots all along the river, which included a variety of water types. In fact, we hooked fish within seconds of starting that day. The highlight of the day was when landed a 22+ inch brown! As you can see from the picture, the gill plates are purple! This fish was fat, and stocky throughout.I was lucky enough to have landed two browns, one on the smaller side, and another which was a good sized fish. He literally knew every single rock in the river.
I had heard so much about this river, and was dying to fish it, it did not disappoint. The fish were really beautiful, and unmarked, truly a sight to see! I really had the TPO experience! Throughout the day, we had hooked a combined 50+ fish. My problem was keeping them on. Im hooked on the West Branch!
