Allen Fly Fishing hooks.

Recieved some hooks today after VERY fast shipping! Hooks are VERY sharp. They are a little lighter in color than TMC. Eyes are all closed. No "open" eyes. Would highly recommend Allen Fly Fishing hooks. I messed up my order and had to email Justin. VERY nice man. I look forward to doing more business with this company. I wish them very good luck! I will do a review of one of their waterproof fly boxes soon.

Allen has great stuff. Not top notch but not crap either from what I've seen and heard from users of some of their stuff.

Justin is a very great guy and helps me out with my business. Allen has donated fly boxes to an auction I put together for a young girl with cancer as well. TOP NOTCH customer service, and will bend over backwards to get what you need. I have tied thousands of flies on their hooks and only ever had one complaint. This was my fault as when I pinched the barb off of a hook i weakened the bend. The poor guy lost his biggest fish of the year. Needless to say i hooked him up with a half dozen of the pattern he lost the fish on.

I just put in a second order with them. The quality of hooks for the price is unbeatable. I ordered jig hooks, and small nymph hooks the first time just to try them out and I'm happy I did. The bead prices are nice also. Plus, buying in bulk is great for the discount.

I purchased their xa rod in 10' 4 weight for czech nymphing and love it. It is a bit stiff but held up well in the winter. I also picked up a Compass wich is their cheapest rod. Pretty flexible and a different color. Nice back up rod. Eventually I may pick up one of their more expensive rods but for Now their XA is a nice rod. I thinkt they have it on sale in their deal of the week section.
