South Branch of the Raritan... not the KLG

i wasn't going to fish today when i got out of work. a few friends bailed out on me. i didnt want to go to the gorge.. its been getting old there. i didn't want to go home and tie flies just yet. i drove along the south branch thinking of a good place to fish. after driving along aimlessly. decided to fish near high bridge. i caught six fish total most being nice sized rainbows and this big hog of a brown trout. i would guess that its in the ball park of 20 inches. really fun time and i was fishign all alone. sorry about the crappy quality of the picture... the battery in the digital camera was dead. someone driving along the river was nice enough to take a pic of me ;D the trout had to be a holdover fish from years ago! it had really good fins and was in nice shape.

yes teyana... i was fishing, what a surprise ;D mike i caught every fish yesterday on hendrickson nymphs. there were even a few fish rising! if i had a dry fly rod i could have caught more fish!
