Western United States Trout
These are Trout from the Big Horn River in Montana. What an awesome place!!!! You only need three flies, san juan worms, ray charles nymphs and a soft hackle sow bug. All you need to do is throw it in and get one. Lots of days over fifty trout including one day over a hundred!!!!! Many twenty inch MEASURED trout were caught and released.
These are trout that were caught in July of 2006 in the canyon section of the South Fork of the Snake. Awesome fishing to say the least!!!! The trout there love the rubber legs!!! We hit it perfect PMD's and Stoneflies all day. These trout were easy to catch and we were able to dry fly fish almost all day. None of the trout were too big but they were plentiful.
