    KLG Stream Report 3/20/2007

Went to my favorite today. The Ken Lockwood Gorge on the South Branch of the Raritan River. Just wanted to see if I could catch them stocking...

and see what the access looks like...
    .
Once you walk in a bit, it isn't too bad walking in the truck tracks, and I had quite a bit of luck fishing for two hours at the end of the day today. I caught one nice one, that measured about 16 inches on the rod,

and I caught a little guy.

All fish were rainbows and they were taken on blood read SJ worms and Green Weenies. I caught five fish in all, but the best part was that they were all taken right in the last two hours of daylight after work. SPRING IS COMING!!!

Mike- black is fine, but here's a pic of a PT like the one I was using:

I was using an 18. I think I could have had greater success on a 20. Good luck Mike. Let us know when you're headed out there. I've been eyeing a couple "new" spots I want to try in there.
