Fishing was very good. Went with my buddy John and met Oscar aka Trout5. We caught a ton of fish. Some good ones over twenty inches. There are quite a few fish in there. However, they have been caught quite a few times. Midges and egg flies were the choices today. Almost every fish that I sight casted to ate my flies. lots of fun! There are also a ton of fish that have not come down the sluice way yet. When the hundred or so trout in there get into the river its going to be even more ridiculous! The largest trout was a spawned out 22 inch female.

It was pretty nutty. I went back on Monday and caught a few more. It was snowing pretty hard and I forgot my polarized lenses like a fool, so the sight fishing was tough but I managed to catch some nice ones.
