Halliday I won't continue to open a pandora's box any further but I will say that most Christians today have this "meek" mentality that they believe is "biblical". King David killed evil men and still was called a man after Gods own heart. Jesus talked tough to the Pharisees calling them "white washed tombs". Someone had to call this "dork" out; it happened to be me. I didn't start it he did and you question me because I defend another? BTW.....didn't God create all creatures? So what's wrong with likening a trouble maker to an evolved (mammal) creatures body part? If you'd like to discuss it further you can pm me. I don't need to be educated on the "turn the other cheek" stuff. There is plenty of examples of why God DOESN'T want us to do that in certain circumstances. Take WWII for an example. The Civil War has it's black marks with so called "Christians" on both sides. Ooops, I think the box is opened. Sorry that I did what others thought they shouldn't do. And if what I did was so bad then let the mods ban me...........but that would be a bad example, since the "warpig" is the one that started this stuff. I, too, come here to discuss fishing with flies, and all that's related to the sport/ trade. the jesus bullshit and religious elitism posts really hit a nerve with me. i got sidetracked. the whole organized faith of christianity, in my opinion, is a fucking capitalist sham- chock-ful of cons and pervs and i CANNOT be convinced of its righteousness on ANY level. love god if you want, or jesus, or whatever. don't talk to me about it or attempt to 'spread the good word'. doesn't sit well with me. if this place is about to convert into some youth fishing ministry- ban me. it would be better for us all.
