fly fishing show seminar venues?

Dave Whitlock as many of you know is one of my closest friends. For he and Emily to drive from OK is a big deal. The week before they were at the Denver show. We always spend Christmas at the Whitlocks which gives us plenty of time to talk about fishing and past events we have been involved with and the many FF friends we have known who are no longer with us.
No doubt it is a very different world out there. Dave more or less now spends his time doing art work commisions, he is 76 years old now this past November.
Some of you would have seen some of his newer collections, the two prints of the 4 cuthroat trout and sunfish speices are awsome.

My highlight of the show was meeting Charlie Meck. Although he was in the midst of signing books he took the time to talk to me and I found him to be a very gracious and humble man. We talked for a few minutes and he gave me some good input to help my dry fishing.
