    Angry What's Going On????

Recently when I check in on the forum there is advertising all over the place. What makes it worse it impinges on posted pictures and for a You Tube fly tying demo. This quite frankly pi$$e$ me off. I suspect the one prankster is my Cable Provider Optimum. Though there are others----have any changes been made to the forum to accomodate this advertising???? I just plain don't like it. "Doc"

yes, they allow the advertisements. It helps off set the cost that it takes to run the forum.

Sorry Dr Dun, this whole thing is going to keep getting bigger and with bigger the commercialization is bound to happen. As long as the good vibe and overall positive attitude remain I can look past the ads!!

I agree with Halliday, It is what it is , its the times, more and more of our world is going digital all the time. Advertising on the web is smart, Honestly since smartphones, I pads etc. I can find a lot of information about fly fishing. Stream Reports, USGS , You Tube, Forums, Fly Patterns, Gear ,etc. No Disrespect but its the digital age. Can you blame them for allowing the adds. There is still a positive vibe and a great attitude towarads sharing information on this forum about this sport.

Accepting ads onto your screen is a personal choice.

Every browser out there has an Ad Blocker add-on for it, easily installed in about two minutes, including the google search.
