Hey Dave- Last year, Airflo changed the color of Supple Impact from lichen to coral. Same line, just a different color. The lichen is going on e-bay for $35.00. I'm going to grab one or two myself.

I have a z-zxis 5 wt for dry fly fishing. It is perfectly matched to a #5 line for 50-80ft casting, can handle overlining to 6wt at 50 ft, and 7 wt without double hauling and close by (say 45ft max). the lines are SA GPX or steelheads, so a half weighting above nominal rating. I regularly use lines 1-2 ratings above the rod nominal for the close in stuff ( e.g. 3 wt on my 1 wt for small stream dries and 20-30dt casting).
Now for CZN, as you only have the front part o the line taper out of the rod most of the time, you could go 2-3 over rod rating. IF you want to spanish style nymph, with say 30 ft of line out of the tip, limit your overlining to x2.
The AFTMA ratings are based on a certain amount of line out of the rod, which gives you wiggle room.
As for the 4wt zaxiz CZN rod, you could use a 5wt or even a 6wt if needed. See my related post on the cabela's 4wt CZN rod today.
