I lived in Dillon 90-94. 3 miles of fine fishing. Have not fished it much since 96. Too many cars in parking lot now. Same with the Beaverhead, hard for me to make trip because of crowds.

I spent a lot of time at Poindexter on my hands and knees. Beaverhead does have some restrictions on out of state and outfitter floats. Still very crowded. Big willing fish with very high numbers per mile. Kids were small then so I stayed close to home, only fished Big Hole 7-8 times. Home rivers hundereds of times.

Ok, fished all of those waters over the years, some not as good as they once were sad to say.
Did at one time consider to move to MT as l was offered a very good opportunity there. What put me off was the brutal winter periods.
