    Davy's Client's Wet Fly Beauties

A few great fish that Davy helped some lucky anglers catch using his wet fly "magic."

Thanks AJ for posting my pics.

Just a few of the many trophy fish we have caught this year on the White in AR.
The first pic shows a 26 ins fish that took a top dropper as sweet as a nut when it was dribbled though the surface, now that is a big fish to take you on that way, l guess it thought the fly was a hopper which is what it was intended to represent.
Which was on a variation of my muddler daddy, larger fly with a olive body not hares ear, yellow and orange also work real well.

Seriously Davy, that last picture should be considered snagging. I've seen grizzlies with shorter claws.

Wow those are monsters! The nails I mean!
As far as fishermen go, Captain Ahab was pretty tame.

Thats Tbird my other half, many of you TPOs met her at Somerset and know that she is a professional fly tyer, so no excuse for you guys with short stubby fingers and no nails !!!
Fish is a big Bull shoals dam bow. I have always told here that the fish probably thinks its been nailed by a eagle or a Osprey. That fish lead her a dance, jumped about 6 times, to say the least l was surprised the 5x held.

Anyway it shows you the class of fish we have here on the White river.

I'm impressed that she can tie with those things. Are they real?

No not real, she used to be a nail technician before a pro tyer. Can rig her own fishing rigs as well.
Shoots skeet and sporting clays also pretty well.
Has cast into the high 80s with a 5wt and won a FFF event.

Its not the nails she uses to tie it is her fingers, always looked real awkward to me when l was teaching her. She can turn out around 20 flies a hour, such as sowbugs, scuds, midges, soft hackles, and many other of my fly patterns.
Granted deer hair is a issue due to the nature of grip you need.

Davy's personal ad from when he met his wife:

Wanted, beautiful, witty woman who is just at home at a 5 star restaurant or on the river fishing. Must be able to tie flies. Send picture of flies.

Yes, correct BCB, amongst other things.
