    Detailed Report

Ok so I spent 30+ minutes trying to remember how to tie a blood knot. Finally rigged up and eventually caught the rainbow pictured below on a Walt's Worm. It might be the same fish I LDR'd 5 minutes prior to the catch. I had another miss, then I eventually caught a small but sexy wild brown on a BH Black Bugger.

After fishing a couple of different stretches of water, I move a mile or two down stream and first cast I had a LDR on a nice sized fish, eventually I pick up a small chub in a pool behind a downed tree. I may of had 1 or two other LDR's before I called it a day. I lost 3 BH wooly buggers to trees.

Despite what you see from the photo there were plenty of seams to fish, the problem was the water was moving a bit faster than what I would have preferred.

It certainly does! I even favor it over an UL setup w/trout magnets lol. I've learned how to cast in tight situations so the TM's don't have an edge over nymphing anymore in my eyes.
