    Yeah 2 feet of snow last week followed by an 85 degree day Saturday here in Denver...yipes! Drove through that blizzard last week heading out to a meeting in Vail. Stopped by the bridge behind cutthroat on my way out , saw a dozen or so in the slower pockets,,two were way over 20...prob...25 inches. I had my biz clothes on so I didnt jump in but nobody fishing there and a lot of possibilities...

    Weather has been crazy around here lately. That's awesome you spotted those big boys, I'm sure all the damn tourists have driven those bigger fish downstream to find some peace and quite for the spawn. Heading down to the Taylor River tomorrow... Should be, intersting....

    HAHA no kiddin. I'm trying too get in as much fishing as possible before the weather gets too good and all the "sports" come from Jackson, WY. Haha i love the income that comes too our sate and all the publicity our rivers get but sometimes it gets wayyyyy too over crowded. especially when all the guides think they can push a local off their spot because they have a paying client >

    Hah, if they tried that with me, I wouldn't hesitate spending the afternoon chucking small boulders into the pool. That would be as much fun as actually fishing!

    Re: Summer 2011 right around the corner!

    Haha i think its time for my faorite fishing story of this summer.

    so i have my favorite pool for the drake hatches on the river at any one time in the pool it holds probably 50 fish in the current. so a drift boat pulled up too me while i fished my hole that I had been at for about 5 hours. The guide got out and asked me to leave because he had a paying client and i was just dickin around. I politely told him too F off. so he stood right next too me and fished his shoulder was touching mine. he hooked a fish after 5 minutes of taking my abuse. so i very sportsman like threw my line over his and snagged his fish in the ass. His fly came loose and mine stayed in. Count one for me. it wasnt a small fish either (;
