    Newbie on TPO

This is a great website. There alot of good people with alot of good information on here. I've been Fly-fishing 11 years. I fish every watershed in Central PA and like to go after the brookies in the mountian streams. I like this site because you guys are Hardcore Fly-Fishersmens. This is a great website and keep up the good work.

Give a man a fish and you feed him for a day. Teach a man to fish and then release it, he might starve but we can catch the fish again tomorrow.

Yes, welcome aboard. The great thing about this site is that everyone is very open and not selfish about information, techniques, etc.

Yes, hardcore! Speaking of which, I'm just heading out now to the Deerfield to hit the midnight shift! I'll post reports tomorrow.

I am sure that you would know Kurt then... Its so funny that you said that you like to catch brookies in mtn. streams. Kurt, who has the Clarion River (with all of those monster brown trout) still prefers to go after small wild fish rather than tustle (sp.) with those brutes. I do have to say that I had a great time the other day catching the wild trout in the small brook. I would say that I got the Same amount of enjoyment as I would have gotten from catching large non-native trout. There are certain things that I get a kick out of when fishing small streams.

Yes... for now we are a small community. However, I believe that this will grow. Sharing information is the only way that we will all become better fly fishermen.
