Tis the season for new gear!

Ha ha for the holiday season I indulged by picking up a new TFO pro series 9' 6 wt. and a Ross CLA 3 reel.

did anybody else pick up any new gear this season?

I was going to hold off, but after other forum members mentioned the Streamflex rods for $179, I couldn't resist. 10' 3 wt. will be put to the test soon.

I have a quick question to whoever is willing to answer,
    Rio tippet....fluoroflex, or fluoroflex plus?

whats the difference if any?, is fluoroflex plus worth the few extra bucks? and has anybody had good experiences with them?
Me personally i just use their power flex but I'm thinking about going fluorocarbon.

I'm not shure of the differance (maybe break strength) but I do like to build my dry fly leaders with a peice of flouroflex in before the tippit for a shock buffer when fishing small light wire hooks.
