    farmington river

Fished the Farmington today. Did pretty well on stonefly and isonichea nymphs. The water is still 53 out of the dam so it looks like we will not run out of cold water this summer. I have been catching what I believe to be numerous wild brown trout. Today I had a camera. So I will put a picture up later.

    Magnet,

I was visiting my father the last weekend in June and we fished the Farmington. We both caught numerous 5-7 inch wild browns. They have to be wild I assume unless there is some type of fingerling program on the Farmington. We got them at several locales, including boneyard/central riffle and black bridge. Looks to be a sign of good things.
