Those are some nice fish for there. No Tenkara rod?![]()
Took the family (including mother-in-law) to the PA Wilds Area for a few days camping. Fished Young Woman Creek in Clinton County. I got there about 545AM a started to scout around. I finished by 830AM. The water was about 20cfs. I thought maybe it was a wasted trip, so little water, but it was cool, I was there, so I will fish. I started nymphing every slight divot in the stream bed. TO MY SURPRISE there was a sizable trout in every one. Many of the trout were around the 10"+ range. It is a Catch and Release section that held up to its reputation. In all I caught about 4 wild browns, 5 rainbow hold overs from March (one at 14"), but no Brook Trout. Neat little stream. It would would not be a destination for me to fish, but a great place to get a trout fix.

Actually, that is all I used. And I did use a couple of drys too.
Tough to get close enough, my only complaint.
