I was just out in West Yellowsstone at Blue Ribbon fly shop. Hydrophobe is no longer available. The company was bought out and production was closed.

I use dry magic for CDC flies and for non CDC dries I use Hydrophobe, a French floatant that I get at Blue Ribbon Fly Shop in West Yellowstone. It is the only place I have seen it and I think it is the longest lasting floatant.

I had an interesting experience a coupleof years ago. I was in West Yellowstone and my first stop was in Madison River Oufitters to get some T shirts for my son. I asked the female staff person if they carried Hydrophobe because i thought it was the best floatant. She said she used it as well but Blue Ribbon was the only place she could get it!
