... I fish not because I regard fishing as being terribly important, but because I suspect that so many of the other concerns of men are equally unimportant, and not nearly so much fun.

Good job !just add an L geezzzzz
That's a great fish for Corrib, which was on my favorite Irish Loughs to go fish when l lived in Wales.
Back in the 70s was fortunate to hook and land a 11lb fish on this lake, it took a green drake, which is a danica mayfly emerger on a day when we saw a rough water day out there drift fishing the lake.
One of my friends got a 14 lb fish some years ago also fishing Raps.
This strain of Ferox Brown lives as a rule in very deep water, other strains found in the same water prefer shallow water zones and are those mainly caught by fly fishers.
Take note further guys of this report related to the average number of fish the anglers catch, bear in mind also that many of the reports related to competition events and high class anglers fishing.
By comparison we have it easy here by average number fish days.
These lakes are not stocked, and l have told Aaron many times in my opinion some of the most difficult waters in the world to catch wild Browns, and numbers of them.
Thye will humble you many times.
Much of my wet fly fishing skills were honed on waters like Corrib, a day of 2 or 3 fish was a great one, many more than that, then good session took place at the bar followed suit.

I've fished Corrib a number of times, but I never caught any fish like that!!! Heck, I've only caught a handful of trout on that lake, but I loved every minute out on that water.
I'm 16 and I love the outdoors.
