    Circus Peanut

ok so I'm tying up some CP's in size #4(front hook)/#6(back hook). I fish Central PA streams mostly. Do I need smaller sizes? Or maybe larger too?

I like smaller streamers for the streams out there. Make sme really small ones around 3 inches too.

I tie them with 2 3xlong size 12 in 3 colors white, root beer, olive. You can use 2 #10's but the average 12 trout tends to shy away from it as it gets to large. You will catch less but the ones you do catch will be nice fish. Don't think you can get away with regular saddle hackle either, the fly is way more effective with the proper materials.

Aaron and Jay thanks for the feedback. I'll definitely try the smaller sizes. I heard the same thing about not using saddle hackle,,,,schlappen is the way to go.
