First post and a little bit late but a report on Penn's creek

Hello! Never posted here but know AJ for a while. Nice place!!

Here is my report from Penn's creek PA: GREEN DRAKE!!

I was up there for the last 5 days with my father in-law and family....Oh yea and my buddy River Rat! LOL! We had a blast! We caught alot of nice wild browns and got a few rainbows that were stocked and must have swam away from the rest.

All I can say is that I have gotten alot better at nymphing thanks to Rat and that if you let my wifes uncle Steve by your fly box, you might as well start tying again because you will be less half of your flies!

The most amazing thing I have ever seen fly fishing was the Green Drake happening up there right now. I never saw that many bugs in the air even in the thickest white fly hatch on the river here by my house! WOW!! It is a sight to see.

We were all busy fishing to take pics but I did get a about a normal size brown with my camera phone. My rod handle is 10 1/2 inches long just to give you a size of the fish.

We had a great time and if you never fished Penn's before you have to do it at least once. It is an awesome trout stream! I have fished it for about 6 years now and no matter how good you are that stream will put you in your place.

The drake was way below coburn as of Friday but should be there by now!
