mono leader

I am interested in trying out euro nymphing fishing - recently bought a greys streamflex 10' 4wt to do so. That being said, my next todo is build the long leader/sighter system. I haven't been able to find Golden Stren for the butt material as recommended by Aaron. I did however find Stren High impact Lo Vis Green and Maxima Chameleon. I got 20lbs and 15lbs test in both brands. Does the brand and color matter? Does the mono need to be "clear"?

You're going to have to return the colored stuff for clear in those sizes The colored stuff is for the indicator!

Make sure the line is either Ande or Maxima.

Crap - I started practicing the davy knot with the stren.

Can I use the stren for the sighter? It looks more like a light green/clear mono than the colored sighter you were using in your seminar. Not quite sure if it will work, but if not, oh well I'll keep it around. So any clear mono from Maxima or Ande will do? 20lb/15lb ratio sound good?

Where can I purchase fluorescent mono to build the sighter?

Going to try and hit the Gunpowder in MD with my new rig, once I get everything setup that is. Thanks for the advice Aaron.

Got the Maxima leader, clear, in 20lb and 15lb test. Thanks for the info aaron.
