I kind of agree with Mantis. For those of us who are new here and new to the sport we don't know who Davy is. No disrespect intended in any way. Maybe if we knew more about these folks we could vote for them.

That is a very understandable question from a new person in our sport. Davy Wotton is an internationally known flyfisherman. He has provided a professional perspective and valuable insight as a member of our TPO comunity. We all feel we are fortunate to have such an icon in our sport as a regular contributor at TPO. Go to any fly shop in the world and you will find product developed by Davy Wotton. He is a true inovator and flyfishing authority. Most flyfishermen know and regularly use the Davy knot. I'm not sure but I think he might have had something to do with that too.
