Just an FYI on here in case you don't have enough time to read April's interview.

We are offering a Ladies Learn to Flycast June 26th and June 27th of 2010 and if you sign your wife/girlfriend/sister/mother/aunt/cousin or any other female friend of yours up before Jan 1st we are offering the clinic for $175, a $50 discount for the day. First come first serve on the day picking and after Jan 1st the cost will be $225.

April is a Certified Fly Casting Instructor, guide, published author, film star, and all around great person. I don't know if you read the article, but I agree with April, it's hard to get a girl into the sport when their men are looking over their shoulder. That's why I signed my girlfriend up right away. I really want to get her excited about it, but she feels weird when it's her, myself and six of my buddies.

This clinic will be 8 girls and April and they will spend the whole day together including a BBQ Lunch. Aaron and I will be grilling for the ladies (no you can't help! we called dibs.), as well as supplying some more lady like food (read salad). It should be a great day for the ladies. As you can also see from her blog, they charge $250 a lot of places for these clinics. I wanted to keep it as affordable as possible and still be able to fly her here. Flights from BC aren't cheap! I am sure April would be happy to answer steelheading questions all day long and I might be able to convince her to do a little tying too.

I hope this helps the ladies of the TPO community out even if it encourages a few to love our sport.
