Reel suggestions for TFO Pro 10-ft 5-wt

I just purchased a TFO Pro 10-ft 5-wt from Adam and now need a reel. I was looking at a Ross Evo 2 on eBay - any other suggestions?

p.s. Thanks again Adam for getting the rod in the mail so quickly.

I recently got a Lamson Velocity and love it. Its super smooth and machined so well. On a 10ft rod you might want to consider going up a reel size or two. The larger reels just kinda feel better on the longer rods.

BL - I hadn't looked at the Lamson Velocity - they look nice and a little more affordable too. Thanks

and thanks to you Adam... I am one step closer to divorce!

Offering such a nice rod for such a reasonable price - too hard to resist, but my wife just doesn't seem to understand why I need another fly rod "just for nymphing". I tried the fly rods are like women's shoes - you need different ones for different occasions analogy, but she didn't buy it.

Actually she has been pretty good about it but you do get 'that look'.

A word to the younger members on the forum - stock up on your fishing gear BEFORE you get married or teach your wife to fly fish!

    All good fun...

    Sperry-

Can't fish/play sports with women. I'm too competitive, and its just too overly frustrating trying to get them to understand... Just my philosophy.

Huge fan of the evo by ross. if you want a lower end reel lamson makes the konic which is a really nice reel for like 150 or whatever they offer. I have the konic on my sage 8wt. and the evo on my scott 9ft 5wt. I have heard some really good things about galvin reels also but i will always be a fan of lamson-waterworks and ross reels just some really really nice reels. Ross has a bigger line of reels and more price ranges $50-$350
