    Lopat's cranefly

    You asked for it buddy so I tied one up. Needs some work like less thread behind the bead for one. I used a black tungsten bead, regular colored condom, SLF Kaufmann in brown stone under the latex. I think it looks enough like a cranefly.

    I only ever made that on and sent it to Lopat. I think it made is way into a tree or something. I should make some more. You want to try some out Aaron?

    Can you make me some without the beads? Maybe .030 underbody on a size 10 streamer hook.

    I used it as an anchor, didn't get anything on it except like Nick mentioned, a tree. I modified it a little and it worked well on the little browns in Lopatcong Creek.
