You should space them 24-30 inches apart and the dropper tags should be 4-6 inches long. Do you have the Wet Fly Ways DVD? There is so much good info on that DVD!
My buddy Ken is going to show me some wet fly methods tommorrow at the Pequest River. I plan on using a 3 fly rig with a caddis emerger on top, a wet in the middle and maybe some kind of nymph on the point. How far should I space them and how long should the leader be? I'll be fishing in water that is 3-4 feet deep.

is all this weather going to clear up by tomorrow? its been str8 up nasty
The radar looks UGLY!
Im heading to the gorge tomorrow night, i dont care ill toss streamers..Im going through withdrawl..
I agree not looking good. I mean the more rain we get this time of year the better and these cooler air temps are good but its going to be high. I'll be out tomorrow during the day somewhere. Was looking at one of the "Catskill" streams but its already borderline dangerous so I can only imagine what it will be tomorrow. Might just do the KLG again. Remember Walsh the water in the gorge usually drops as fast as it goes up.
We fished the spot on the Pequest behind the hot dog stand. Using a three fly rig I hooked 3 and landed 2, my first fish using wet flies!!!!!. I let the rig swing into a seam between fast water on the opposite bank and slower water in the middle of the river. All three fish hammered the flies as they made the transition between the water. The two I landed both took the #14 sulphur I had tied on the top. The one I missed took me way downstream before he rolled off. Biggest fish I've hooked into this year. Water was high and muddy, but not as bad as you would think after all the rain. In fact, I think conditions were pretty good.

If you really have the itch you can fish the mud line up near the hatchery.

[/quote]I don't have but I think that I am going to order it. Catching those 2 fish today on those wets was definately habit forming.
