West Branch of the Delaware 5/2/2007

mike rich and i made the trip to the wb. we heard of some good fishing as of late. not the best day but its fishing. the highlight of the day was catching my first fish of the year on dry flies. if the wind was not blowing all day it would have been good. there were tons of bugs on the water. one of the trout was a brown that was a tiny bit over 20 inches. we had a lot of fun!! we were all laughing about vibrant boxes in the tree... right guys?? and it was a great time. i just wish that we could have caught more > > well we owe those fish a butt whooping ;D when i got five in one spot before we took the boat out ... i thought we were going to hammer them.... but that was the fastest action of the day. i had some other fish on hendrickson nymphs. i think that the h20 temps need to come up and then the fish will get in the faster water.. most fish were found in slow current. streamers were also very slow. we tried all types of streamers and retrieves but only had a few follows and one solid strike. well its fishing and all days can't be awesome. but i know my revenge will be sweet... i owe them one.
