    Looks like a caddis to me. Were the trout eating them? was there surface action? Or were they just crawling around?
    You can tune a piano, but you can't tuna fish.

    definitely a caddis...stoneflies don't have tent shaped wings...they're lay more flat over the back...nice lookin bug...I'd call it a grannom or chimarra caddis...size 14 definitely grannom
